Ethereum Mainnet / Uniswap V2
Provide IFR / ETH liquidity
Supply both assets to the existing pool. Receive LP tokens representing your share, and withdraw your share through Uniswap when you choose.
This guide and calculator are read-only. Execute deposits and withdrawals only through the official Uniswap V2 interface, with a separate wallet connection. Use unlocked IFR plus ETH for the pool ratio and gas. LP ownership is separate from IFRLock access, lending, Builder rewards and the original Bootstrap LP retained in its vault. Your return is not guaranteed: impermanent loss, slippage, gas and route-dependent transfer fees can reduce it. Never send assets directly to the pair. Fee exemption applies to a transfer endpoint, not automatically to every router hop. No historical ETH estimate is a current quote.
Estimate your contribution
No wallet connection is needed here. The calculator reads the public pool; it cannot approve, sign or send a transaction.
Use a decimal point, without thousands separators. IFR has 9 decimals.
Excludes gas. This is a pool-ratio estimate, not a guaranteed execution quote.
Waiting for verified pool data...
The on-chain pair holds WETH (wrapped ETH). Uniswap can wrap native ETH as part of supplying liquidity. The estimate expires after three minutes and is withheld if the pool or its fee exemption cannot be verified.
Public RPC requests go to ethereum-rpc.publicnode.com, which can see connection metadata such as your IP. No wallet address is requested by this calculator.

Add liquidity, step by step
- Keep unlocked IFR and enough ETH for both the contribution and network fees. IFR in an access lock, commitment or lending offer is not automatically available.
- Open the official Uniswap app, connect the intended wallet and select Ethereum and a V2 position. Do not create a different V3 or V4 pool for this guide.
- Select ETH and import IFR using the verified token address above. Enter one amount; review the matching amount calculated by Uniswap using its current quote.
- Review the price ratio, slippage, network cost and recipient. A larger tolerance is not a remedy for an unexpected error. Start with an amount whose risks you understand.
- If required, approve only the intended IFR allowance for the verified Uniswap spender. Review the actual wallet request; never approve an unfamiliar spender or share a recovery phrase.
- Confirm the liquidity transaction separately. Wait for a successful receipt, then verify the V2 position and LP-token balance. An approval alone has not added liquidity.
Never send IFR or ETH directly to the pool address. Use the liquidity workflow. Direct transfers may not mint LP tokens and can lose funds.
Remove liquidity
Open your Uniswap positions with the wallet holding the LP tokens. Select the Ethereum V2 position, choose the portion to remove, review minimum amounts and fees, then complete any required LP approval and removal confirmation.
If the position is missing, check the network, wallet and V2 filter, and use Uniswap's pool import option if available. Keep ETH for gas. Confirm the receipt and returned balances before repeating an action.
You receive your share of the pool's current assets, not necessarily the quantities originally supplied. Transferring or locking your LP tokens transfers or restricts control of this withdrawal right.
Withdrawal route matters: native-ETH withdrawal can send IFR from the pair to a router and then to you. If neither endpoint of the router-to-wallet transfer is exempt, that hop incurs the IFR transfer fee even when the pair itself is exempt. Receiving WETH directly from the pair is a different route. Review Uniswap's actual route and net amounts; this guide does not promise every removal is fee-free or compatible with every router method.
Understand the trade-offs
- Trading fees, not a promised yield: V2 trading fees accrue within the pool. Your return depends on trading activity, your share, price movements and costs.
- Impermanent loss: your position can be worth less than simply holding the two assets. Withdrawal can realize that difference.
- Thin liquidity: prices can move sharply and pool ratios can be manipulated. This calculator is not an oracle or fair-value appraisal.
- Execution risks: slippage, MEV, malicious approvals, smart-contract defects and network fees can cause losses. No amount or return is guaranteed.
- Fee exemption: the calculator checks the pair's current IFR exemption. An exemption is address-specific and can change through governance; do not assume every exchange, router or ordinary transfer is exempt.
Providing liquidity is not a donation to Treasury, an IFRLock access lock, a CommitmentVault lock, a LendingVault offer or automatic eligibility for Builder rewards. Uniswap trading fees and the IFR protocol transfer pool fee are different mechanisms.
Common questions
I have 30 million IFR. Must I contribute all of it?
No. Decide how much ETH and IFR you can expose to liquidity-provider risk. The calculator accepts any positive amount; it does not recommend investing your entire balance. Refresh the ratio immediately before using Uniswap.
Does adding liquidity raise the IFR price?
A balanced contribution primarily increases pool depth; it does not by itself materially change the reserve ratio. Buying IFR first is a separate trade that can move the price.
Why is the estimate unavailable?
The RPC may be unavailable, the latest block may be stale, the pool may be empty or identity/exemption verification may have failed. No historical estimate is substituted. Refresh or independently inspect the official Uniswap pool.
Can I use a phone or tablet?
Yes, this read-only page adapts to mobile screens. The actual connection and transaction happen in Uniswap with a supported wallet. For cross-device pairing, scan a WalletConnect QR code with the wallet's scanner, not an ordinary camera.
My transaction failed. Should I retry?
Check its receipt and wallet balances first. A pending transaction is not a failed one. Check ETH for gas, available IFR, allowance and the current quote. Do not increase slippage or submit again blindly.
Reading the landing liquidity gauge
The gauge shows the verified pool's WETH reserve, not total USD liquidity. The fixed display scale runs from 0 to 1 WETH and caps the needle above 1; the numeric reserve remains uncapped. Red, yellow and green indicate increasing reserves only. They are not a safety score, return forecast, recommended deposit or Council funding target. The companion IFR reserve and block time use the same snapshot. Readings expire after three minutes; an unavailable reading has no needle. Refresh before making any decision.
